In-Service Workshops

Following the agreement by a Theatre to adopt the use of any new ETHICON technology, ETHICON Territory Managers can provide in-service training support in the Theatre, as deemed appropriate by Theatre personnel. With permission from the relevant personnel, the Territory Manager will be present during the initial use of any new ETHICON product to respond to any questions that may arise. A range of educational material including research literature, educational booklets, CD ROMS and videos are available in support of this In–Service Training.

Training & Education Study Days

ETHICON Training and Education Customer Study Days at Kirkton Campus

To complement the In-Service Workshops, ETHICON recognises the importance of delivering high quality advanced training study days to Healthcare Professionals. The ETHICON manufacturing facility at Kirkton Campus provides an excellent centre to host external Training and Education Study Days and provides the opportunity for Theatre Staff to have dedicated training sessions away from the workplace to ensure the continuing professional development of their knowledge and skills including new procedures and advancement in product innovation. ETHICON Study Days topics include: Wound Closure, Surgical Site Infection and Hernia Repair. Our programme of Study Days include several Educational Workshops for Procurement personnel, with training sessions on Health Economics, Business Case Development and Innovation.
