ETHICON SSI Symposium 2011
ETHICON is delighted to inform you of the 5th Surgical Site Infection Symposium. This will be held on Friday 8th April 2011 at the International Congress Centre, Birmingham.
ETHICON Cardiac Symposium 2011
The first ETHICON Cardiac Symposium was held at the SCTS 2011 Conference on March 21st at the EXCEL Centre in London and was attended by sixty delegates and four faculty.
ETHICON SSI Symposium 2010
Taking place Tuesday 11th May 2010 (Birmingham International Conference Centre). Topics being covered will include Epidemiology of SSIs across the UK and Europe, Costs of SSI, SSI in Cardiac Surgery, SSI in Orthopaedic Surgery and SSI in Caesarean Section.
MWLBC Symposium 2009
Over 120 UK Plastic Surgeons attended the Massive Weight Loss Body Contouring (MWLBC) Symposium in London last month to watch live surgery and discuss the latest developments in Body Contouring, an important emerging field of Plastic Surgery. The event was organised and sponsored by ETHICON, ETHICON ENDO-SURGERY and MENTOR, all divisions of Johnson & Johnson Medical Limited.
National Hernia Symposium 2011
On Tuesday 1st March 2011 ETHICON held the 8th National Hernia Symposium for Ventral / Incisional Hernia Surgery at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
National Hernia Symposium 2010
We are delighted to announce the date for the 2010 ETHICON National Hernia Symposium. “The Future Of Hernia Repair - Debate, Discuss, Decide.” Tuesday 22nd June 2010 (Birmingham International Convention Centre).
National Hernia Symposium 2009
The National Hernia Symposium, held at the ICC Birmingham and attended by 187 UK Surgeons with an interest in Hernia Surgery examined the delicate balance between cost management and quality of care, especially in the setting of hernia repair.
ETHICON SSI Symposium 2009
Based on 8.6 million surgical procedures in the UK per annum1, an infection rate of 4.2%2 and treatment costs of approximately £2,100 per infection3, the total cost of SSI in the UK is estimated at £758 million per annum. ETHICON is committed to finding solutions to help reduce the risk of Healthcare Acquired Infection.
